Summary of Application Experience
Although I did not make too high on my first MCAT, I believe my EC's, GPA, and good essays have carried a lot of weight. My first MCAT was a 19L, but I was able to get that up to a 23M over the summer. Getting accepted to both WVSOM and PSCOM was a big plus. I'm choosing WVSOM though!!! For those applying, you can't do anything about the EC's, but you can polish up those essays really good. Just be confident and show it at your interviews.
Don't let anyone say that you can't do it. As a homeschooled kid, people thought that I would never amount to much, yet I guess I've proved them wrong.
As for why WVSOM, I like the PBL program there and the fact they don't have a dresscode. Plus, the school/town is super friendly. Its expensive, yet I have to go with my heart on this one.
