Summary of Application Experience
Applying sucks, hope i get in somewhere. Don't think that a good MCAT/GPA will get you in, they are picky. Undergrad institution matters, I wish i had gone somewhere more prestigious!
UPDATE as of 2/2/05: According to TMDSAS I matched with UT-Houston, my 2nd choice. Yay! I get to move down the street! :-P
Update as of 2/25/05: I'm pretty much waiting to be rejected from all my 'received/submitted secondary' schools except for stanford, apparentely they're really sitting on their asses this season. So hopefully I'll get an interview in like April or something.
Update as of 3/22/05: Well the rejects just keep piling up...looks like these are gonna be the only 2 accepts for me, unless by some miracle WashU comes through. :-/
Update as of 4/11/05: Randomly invited to interview at Stanford really, really late in the season. I'm sure they are jerking me around and interviewing me for the waitlist, so rather than spend the money I'm withdrawing.
Update as of 4/12/05: So Case finally stopped stringing me along and rejected me. I'm so disappointed. I can't believe I did so poorly with applying, considering my MCAT score. Oh well, looks like it'll be a crappy state school for me! Now if only I could pick one...
Update as of 4/28/05: I am withdrawing from Nevada and will most likely be attending UT-Houston next year unless I get off a waitlist. It feels good to be almost done with this arduous process...
Update as of 5/23/05: So Mt. Sinai finally got around to rejecting me. It's cute how they think I care. Come ON, WashU!
