6/7/07:Transcripts are in...waiting to shadow one more doctor to add to my activities!
6/12/07: Submitted AMCAS awaiting verification...let the fun begin!
    6/15/07: Application 'under review' (10:27am)
    6/15/07: Application finally verified! (5:00pm)
6/22/07: Decided to get a head start on the secondaries and just finished Tulane's, but I am not going to send it in until more secondaries start arriving!
6/28/07: Received both Miami and Cornell's secondaries. I will begin working on Miami's but I am going to wait and see what my July 13th MCAT brings before I submit to Cornell (Don't want to waste the $75 if I don't have to!)
7/3/07: Finally got my first secondary submitted. I had to call the University of Miami to make sure they wouldn't look at my file until my July MCAT score comes in...mailing Tulane tomorrow!
7/5/07: Sent off Tulane's secondary package this morning...waiting for Georgetown to fix their secondary website so I can submit their application!
7/7/07: Just certified Georgetown...I wish some more secondaries would come in so I can get them finished...
7/9/07: Just submitted Case App. I am now done with all the secondaries I have recieved thus far and am anxiously awaiting more so I can get this process going!
    - Side note: MCAT is 5 days away...I am ready!
7/12/07: MCAT is a day away...i am starting to feel the nerves, but my last couple practice tests have been pretty good! I just hope I don't mess up one section again!
7/13/07: MCAT #2 done...I hope it went better than the first...but it seemed harder, o well I guess I am done with it forever and that is all that matters!
7/14/07: Decided to apply at AECOM, thanks to a tip from someone looking to get into international medicine as well!
7/19/07: 3 secondaries to start working on...Boston, AECOM, and Loyola...should probably get this done soon while I am still just sitting around this summer!
7/20/07: I now have 4 secondaries to do...unfortunately the last Harry Potter book comes out tomorrow so I won't be doing them for a little while!
7/23/07: Harry Potter was successfully finished...and so are Loyola's and AECOM's secondaries!
    7/24/07: Boston's sent away...Creighton Tomorrow!
7/25/07: Creighton finished...now just waiting on Duke, Emory, and U Washington...but none of them will matter until I get my my MCAT score on August 15th...hopefully it is high enough for me have a chance at them!
8/1/07: Finally got all of my letters of recommendation squared away and they should be going to the schools next week...now I am just waiting for Aug. 15th and my MCAT score...
8/10/07: So I am wating for my MCAT score...5 days and counting and then I will let the fun begin with my complete files!
8/18/07: So I got my first interview invite...from Creighton! and Unfortunately I got my MCAT score back and it wasn't nearly as high as I wanted, but it is better...but there goes some of my 'reach' schools unfortunately...
8/27/07: So I am officially stoked to get an interveiw invite at Tulane...I love Louisiana and very excited about the opportunity to showcase myself in person to Tulane!
8/28/07: AECOM invite!!!!! I am very very excited about this! I hope the invites keep coming in...before the rejections!
8/31/07: Found out I am on hold at Case...with my low MCAT I expected a rejection so hold is a good thing!
9/12/07: Just got an interview invite at Loyola...I am pretty excited about this one! I am still trying to decide if I am going to apply to Emory or not...
9/19/07: So I just decided to do the Emory secondary. Life is too short to not try and I have the $90 so I had better just give it a shot instead of asking 'what if'...
9/27/07: I just got an interview from Boston University and i am very very excited about that! I also just found out I am complete at Georgetown so I am eagerly awaiting their decision! So far so good with the medschools, but I am sure the rejections are right around the corner...
10/26/07: Life has been very very busy lately with interviews...four down and one more to go. I definitely have a favorite school but I won't disclose this on here because I don't want to jinx whether or not I get in! I just found out that I'm going to be a doctor!!!!!!! I got accepted to CREIGHTON!!!!!
10/27/07: I was accepted to Loyola as well!!! I am going to be a doctor and I have choices!!!!! Hopefully life will continue to be this sweet...but I don't hear anything else until Jan.
11/10/07: I recieved a letter from Georgetown rejecting me...but that is ok because I was going to decline an interview if I was offered on anyway...I also sent a letter of intent to AECOM so I have done all I can do and we will see what happens in Jan.
11/20/07: Found out I got an amazing scholarship offer from Creighton....$25,000 a year...I am amazed because my stats aren't the greatest, but I guess that isn't all that matters!
I am anxiously awaiting Tulane's letter in the next couple of days hopefully!
11/27/2007: I am super excited to hear I got accepted to Tulane's medical school. I think I could learn a lot from the school and living in New Orleans would be fun/rewarding with all the jazz/bars/service opportunities!
12/7/2007: So I got an email yesterday letting me know I have been invited for an interview at the University of Miami!!! I am super super excited because their out of state averages are much higher than mine! the Jay Weiss Center is what I'm excited to learn more about.
1/11/2008: I decided to withdraw from BU today. They decided to hold off on making a final decision until March and I really didn't want to wait that long...plus I liked Tulane more, and it is cheaper!
1/29/2008: So I am nervously awaiting the results from Miami which should come tomorrow. I absolutely loved the school and I can't help but thinking about it. I am also still a little bummed about AECOM, but hopefully that will all be gone tomorrow!
2/19/2008: So I just found out I was waitlisted at Miami. I have hope that I will get off the waitlist, but I doubt I will hear anything for a few months. I definitely am going to hold out to hear from Miami, because I definitely want to attend, but I also have three awesome schools to choose from so I am not too upset!
5/6/2008: I definitely have not updated this in a very long time. After careful consideration and thought I have narrowed down my final decision to be Loyola Chicago!!! I am very excited to stay in the windy city next year. I am planning on staying on the Miami waitlist until the end of May...but if I don't hear by then it is Loyola!

I am excited about the prospect of staying in Chicago (an amazing city where I already have plenty of connections to friends/organizations/health people)

5/16/2008: I decided I didn't want to wait on Miami any longer...so I withdrew from their waitlist and I am very happy to have the opportunity to stay in Chicago and attend Loyola! I am excited about many of their opportunities, and hopefully I can only add to their great school!
