Summary of Application Experience
10/16 - So excited about the University of Miami! Accepted and given a scholarship for 10k a year.
10/16 - I guess there's no better time for a first rejection than the day of a first acceptance. Oh, UCSF, you wouldn't even entertain me with a secondary? At least you saved me a few bucks. As a non-CA resident, I'll survive. Perhaps I'll see you at residency.
10/17 - Rejection from BU. Jerkfaces.
11/06 - Interview at Wake Forest. Acceptance call from Vanderbilt!!!
11/13 - Rejection from Northwestern. Sad because I would have liked to have ended up in Chicago.
11/15 - HARVARD INTERVIEW!
11/20 - UF interview invite. I've been meaning to withdraw my application since the Vandy acceptance so I declined.
11/22 - Emory interview!
11/28 - Wash U interview invite! Super excited. Not really expecting to hear from anywhere else at this point.
12/1 - Placed on Wake's alternate list. They seem to only want people they know will go there. They take 30-50% of their class off the alternate list if they show interest in the school but...I'm not interested.
12/5 - Pitt decision. Bummer. Probably time to start psyching myself up for Vanderbilt because it's looking more and more like that's where I'll be.
12/11 - Invite from Columbia. Excited because a) it's Columbia, and b) I really wasn't expecting anymore.
1/18 - Cornell said they could interview me but only on January 31st. I didn't think that was funny. I guess we're going to try and work that out.
1/31 - Had to reschedule Columbia. Fortunately, that worked out with Cornell. Doing them both in February.
3/5 - Columbia waitlist.
3/13 - Apparently I am the world's most awesome interviewer...
