Summary of Application Experience
(7/29) I submitted my AMCAS on July 3rd, and my transcripts were in way before. WTF is going on??? Ya, you should try to get it in as early as possible, but realistically I think July 3rd was the earliest I could possibly get it done.
(8/20) Ok, so Columbia sent the wrong transcript in. AMCAS didn't catch the mistake back in June. So, after kicking some arse at AMCAS, I finally got verified after 7 weeks. Pretty ridiculous. But the secondaries are starting to come.
(8/29) Woohoo, I got my first secondary from a school that doesn't automagically send em out (UCSD)
(9/11) Sweetness, I got a secondary from UCSF & U of Wash
(10/23) Over the past couple weeks, I've been racking up the mstp rejections from stanford, cornell, and ucsf. oh well, i'm still crossing my fingers on the others, and hoping to nail my other interviews. the weird thing is that i got an out of state interview for MD from UCSF, but couldn't get an interview for the MSTP program there.
