    Summary of Application Experience

My advice is to only apply to schools you would actually consider going to. Once you have that list, go to ALL interviews you get. You would be surprised at how a school can move on your list once you check it out in person. I'm happy to know that I'm going to school next year. I give mad props to people who are still finishing up school and during this process at the same time. My pockets are hurting and I have a full time job!

3/8/05 So it seems that my top choices are between UNC & Emory. ECU is talking scholarship though....hmmm....

4/7/05 So it's a month later and I'm still no closer to making a decision....I think this is harder than filling out applications!

6/7/05 My final decision is to attend Emory University! Just a little more of my two cents....as you can see, I turned down some schools that gave me much more money than Emory. In the end, however, I think that your decision should not be about the money. Yeah, it's going to have a great influence in your decision most of the time, but I wanted to go somewhere I think I would enjoy and not worry about the $$$ yet. Yeah, I probably will not be saying the same thing 4 years from now, but I am happy with my decision. Also, regardless of what people say, you do NOT have to apply to 20-30 schools to get in! Believe in yourself and let your confidence show. My stats are not great by any means, but sometimes it's just good enough! Good luck to all....
