I applied late in the process, and it hurt me in that I was wait-listed at a lot of places. And my GPA could have been higher. I had no interviews before February, since most of my secondaries went out late. Faculty interviews were often better than student interviews for me, interestingly enough, though how I felt about them did not necessarily translate to an acceptance.
