    Summary of Application Experience

    What a ridiculous process!

My experiences are that regardless of what others tell you about how competitive your application may be, don't be fooled. I am now an M.D., training in a strong residency program, despite my weak undergraduate GPA and above average (not stellar!) MCAT.

Don't sell yourself short. Bottom line is to go for it, and if you fall short, pick yourself up and try again. I was lucky enough to get in the first time, and applied to osteopathic programs to 'hedge my bets'.
