undergrad gpa 2.7, 37 hrs post-bacc grad courses 3.9 gpa, tons of volunteer at multiple hospitals & special olympics, one year undergrad research w/ NASA, two years in home assistant with developmentally disabled, one year as an NA in a nursing home, one year as a teacher, one year as an RA in well-respected basic science lab w/ 2 publications, excellent lors from senior faculty at two med schools, lots of 'other' type stuff (have recorded several albums of original music, published poetry, illustrated children's book, plus a little personality (the real key for my app)
