Summary of Application Experience
I applied to more than I have written above, but it was a while ago so I don't remember. I do recall that my first acceptance came prior to some January deadlines for secondaries that I ended up not sending in. As you can guess from my GPA, I was pleased to get the interviews I did. My first interview was probably my worst. I was so nervous I was throwing up and ended up taking some compazine before my day started. It stopped the throwing up, but I wasn't very relaxed. I would recommend trying to schedule one of your less favored programs to interview first if you can. The next interviews went much better. Also, to those interviewing in places where it is cold (especially if you are from Cali like me)...minus 6 is a special kind of cold. I didn't realize this and decided to walk to mile and a half to the mall instead of getting a cab (yes, I am that cheap). I thought I was going to die! Spring for the cab, it is worth it.
