Brief Profile:
Although my gpa is low, that is only because of my first year of school. After dropping out for two years, I busted my ass to average a 3.85 my last three years. I hope my upward trend will be recognized. I am working full-time in a neuroscience lab after graduation while I apply to medical school. My extracurriculars are:
Volunteer at local medical center for 2 years
Webmaster/Officer/Member of a community service club at school
Teaching assistant (We were actually the teachers in lab) for human gross anatomy lecture/lab
Employed in a computer media lab on campus for 2 years
Dissected prosections for anatomy course 2 quarters
And probably some other stuff which I can't remember right now.

Summary of Application Experience
Man, this is expensive so far.
All right, so I think I applied later than I should have (most of my apps were completed in october); however, I still think that I should have seen more interviews. A couple former adcom members agreed. It seems like a good chunk of schools have my file pending re-review before even extending an interview, so I am not too hopeful. I'm counting on Case to come through, but I'm starting to come to the realization that I might be reapplying. Unfortunately, there is no short term fix to my situation because the only thing really lacking is my gpa. I'm TAing for anatomy again and volunteering at a homeless clinic while maintaining my research position to help keep me busy.
Other than my gpa, my app was pretty solid. I think that I might have had one lukewarm letter of rec, but that's it, and my personal statement was pretty good. Oh well, back to the daily grind.
