    Summary of Application Experience

The SUNY Stony Brook Interview was pretty laid back and I felt I connected well with both my interviewers(a Phd Biochemist and a Pediatrician). The interview was open file and both interviewers commented on things they loved about my ECs and secondary essays. They are rolling admissions, so hopefully some good news will be in soon.

Jefferson is in a great location (Center City Philadelphia) absolutely loved it. They are building a new facility for classrooms and simulators for MS2's slated for completion in fall 2007. Everyone I interacted with was great and extremely nice. The interview was pretty relaxed. They focus on primary care and they have some great resources to help you learn. However, I wasnt really thrilled about having 6 people to a cadaver in the anatomy lab (there are 2 groups of three so you dont get to do or see every dissection).

10/17/06 - Stony Brook Overnighted me my acceptance letter. Lots of thanks to Dr. Jack Fuhrer and the rest of the admissions staff.

10/29/06 - Basically I'm withdrawing from any school I'm waitlisted at thats not a top 25. There would have to be a serious reason for me to not attend a SUNY school as a state resident.
