Summary of Application Experience
I sent in everyting on the early side except for my packet because I wanted to wait for a certain boss to send in his rec, and it delayed my application completion till October, so I think that really ruined chances at some interviews.
3/18/06 - I can't decide!, last minute interview invitation at PSU showed me that the game is not over. Thinking about calling jefferson and giving them my intent to come off the wait-list. Accepted in Drexel's PIL program, but don't know if its worth the $. Kind of sick of philadelphia, but rent in foggy bottom is too expensive.
4/1/06- Had a great time at Temple's second look day, we got to interview standardized patients and play with the sim doll and other practice materials. Biggest concern is the 2006 match list was not impressive for those who are not interested in primary care.
4/22/06- Still no word from PSU, but decided I will be happiest at Jeff as long as my good friend and I are accepted... minor detail
5/14/06- Graduating from Penn today, got a 'on hold' response from PSU, I'm guessing thats a waitlist (whatever the people there were so weird), I also sent my regret to Drexel, I just hope I get into Jefferson so I can send regret to Temple as well. Keep your fingers crossed.
6/16/06- Nothing new.... read somewhere online that there will be movement at Jeff once April MCATS come out... Seems like that might happen next week.
