Summary of Application Experience
It's a long and arduous process that requires a great deal of time, money, and patience. After I accepted my position at CCOM, I could reflect on the whole process, and I realized that osteopathic medical schools are more forgiving with grades and MCAT scores if the applicant is well-rounded and involved in the world outside of academics. Applying for medical school is not for the faint of heart and undecided; those who wish to apply should really weigh their options and decide if this is the future they wish to pursue, they should pursue it to their fullest.
