GPA ranges from 2.6 to 4.0; procrastinated on secondaries bc i didn't know how id score on august MCAT....so these two things mightve set me back a bit. but i was very luck to have several options and i am very happy at SUNY buffalo
my final two cents:
-if you slacked off early in college, you have hope if you pick up the slack in your advanced science courses. i brought my grades up to straight As in my junior & senior yrs.
someone once told me that 'it's not good grades that get you into med school, but rather the passion for med school that gets you good grades'. my 2.6 was the result of apathy in the courses in high school that i took courses for college credit. my 4.0 was product of true motivation to become a doctor after my father suffered from pancreas cancer for 3 years and passed away around the time i took the MCAT.
-interviews are everything!! generally, my interviewers were easygoing and the questions were straightforward. just be sincere about your interests and everything will be fine
