Brief Profile:
I applied pretty late because of the timing of my post-bacc program (I took the MCAT in August '07, only a week and a half after summer Physics ended). Whether that affected the outcome of this whole process or not, I guess I'll never know.
In college: -Majored in Government / International Relations -Spent my junior year in Geneva, Switzerland -President of the Smith College Debate Society (this was my main extra curricular in college, I held a lot of other offices, too) -Phi Beta Kappa, other academic honors, prizes, etc. -Internships at the UN, NYC government, and two nonprofits
After college: -Worked full-time for two years for the federal government before my post-bacc program -Volunteer as an HIV Risk Reduction Counselor at a community clinic for the past ~1.5 yrs -Spending this year working full-time as a medical assistant/clinical research assistant in a private practice
And I have a **SPARKLING** personality :)
