Research: 1yr. undergraduate volunteer research in VEGF/cancer >1yr. Employment as Research Assistant on Complement (start 9/07-pres)
Volunteer: 2/08 in ER 4hrs/wk ---thinking about picking up another shift in a different department and looking into shadowing.
Other EC's: SCUBA diver (Advanced certification) Study Abroad - Australia
Awards: 2x Provost's honors (like deans list) Chancellor's Research Scholarship Doris A. Howell Research Scholarship American Association of University Women Scholarship
LOR: Can get one from each P.I. I've worked under as well as one prof (sci) (all very strong), but beyond that I'm stumped....Any suggestions or is this sufficient?
I am a CA resident, so I plan on applying to ~22 schools (so far.) I can only be in/near a big city so the plan so far has been most of NY schools, some CA, NJ, Chicago...etc. but any suggestion as to schools would also be appreciated.
