Philosophy and Neuroscience double major.
Founded a chapter of a neuroscience honor society on campus, successfully petitioning for both national and local charters. Member of other national honor societies including Psi Chi and Alpha Lambda Delta. Recognized in Who's Who Among Students.
Member of the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts (SJLA) program, as well as Scranton's Health Professions Organization, Scranton Neuroscience Society, and APSSC.
Active volunteer for the Hospital Elder Life Program, as well as former teaching assistant for Freshman Seminar and Behavioral Neuroscience courses. Student coordinator and current chairman for the regional Brain Bee competition as well as former student participant in the annual Kids Judge Neuroscience event in Scranton. Former contributor to the University of Scranton student newspaper, Aquinas.
Currently employed, ~20 hours a week, at the University of Scranton Technology Help Desk. Previously, I worked as a lab assistant.
I am currently working to fulfill a research grant on stem-cell research ethics, more specifically, a philosophical analysis and value judgment of altered nuclear transfer, oocyte-assisted reprogramming, and new techniques for the procurement of pluripotent stem-cells.
