Brief Profile:
Non-trad applicant. Been in banking and engineering fields since graduation. Not so hot undergrad cGPA (~3.0). Working it in post-bacc. MCAT in Spring 2009.
-Volunteering in an ER -Shadowing a DO plastic surgeon -Need to shadow an MD -Need a clinical research position -Planning to travel to Africa twice each for a period of one month (rural and 'city') -Activist volunteering -Working 25-30 hrs/week at current job

Below is a very long list of schools (MD/DO) I am considering application for Fall 2010 matriculation. I am not applying to all of the schools below. It's just a reference of schools I am looking at. Yes, I know my GPA will not be up near a 3.7 by the time I finish my post-bacc work, HOWEVER, there is much more to an application than just a GPA. Although GPA is a big fact, I know several cases where the GPA was a bit lower than a 3.4, MCAT average, and they have gotten into stellar schools. I know I've got what it takes to be a great physician, if you think you can knock me down, just know that you have no chance.
