    Summary of Application Experience

6/18: MCAT. AAMC practice tests in the 31-37 range. Here\'s to hoping for the high end of that!

    6/28: submitted.

    7/21: under review!

7/21: After an agonizing wait, MCAT scores up. Lower than I expected, but I\'m going to roll with it!

7/22: Verified! Bring on those secondaries!

8/10: Almost finished with secondaries, but I\'m out of the country and can\'t mail in GW, Rosalind Franklin, and SUNY.

    8/11: Letters finally in.

8/15: Struggling with Georgetown secondary. Really, 5000 characters on why I want to go to there?

    8/17: Returning to Chicago tomorrow!

8/18: Still waiting for Loyola secondary. I know they screen, but my stats aren\'t that bad!

8/20: I called Loyola and they are apparently still screening my application. Come on guys, you\'ve had it for a month now!

8/22: Added some PA schools because I really like writing secondaries.

8/25: Finally got Loyola\'s secondary. Beastly.

8/27: Mailed Loyola, George Washington, Rosalind Franklin, and SUNY Downstate. Done with secondaries (for now; I still haven\'t gotten Drexel\'s secondary. No essays on that one though.)

9/1: New job, first rejection: Boston. It hurts, but it\'s not so bad.

9/2: Rejected by University of Chicago. Expected, but not a good week on the med school front.

9/10: Finally got the Drexel secondary.

9/11: Complete at all schools. Here\'s to hoping.

9/18: Rejected from Georgetown, but Interview Invite at Tufts! Who needs DC, anyway?

9/21:Complete email from Columbia. Turned in this one in late July, wonder what the hold up was.

9/22: On hold at George Washington. Boo.

10/5: Complete email from Rosalind Franklin.

10/7: Where are you UIC? I love you, I miss you, and I\'m sorry I ever talked bad about you. Please, please look at my application.

10/20: Rejected from MCW. Collecting the rejections. Kinda sucks.

    11/2: Rejected by Pitt

11/3: Interview at Tufts. Amazing place, nice students, love the curriculum.

11/18: Update letters sent. Maybe this will turn in to an invite. I hope, at least. I want an interview in Chicago!

11/19: On hold at UIC. This one makes me sad--it\'s my state school and I\'d love to attend.

11/20: Rejected from Cornell. No surprise, really.

12/1: Waitlisted at Tufts. Sad day.

12/18: Rejection from UIC. Crap. My state school. I have average stats for them, volunteering, etc. What are they looking for? I\'m really really sad about this one.
