Summary of Application Experience
7/10- sent my AACOMAS application in 7/13- going to take the MCAT a 3rd time, they cancelled it on me that day and I have to take it on the 24th. 7/24- Felt the MCAT PS went horribly and the verbal wasnt too great. here's hoping that my score increases from 22. After 4 months of studying I hope it was worth it 7/26- verified and sent to schools 7/31- got LECOM's secondary and finished it. Will submit soon 8/3- got DCOM's secondary to fill out and have it done. Everything needs to be proofread and mailed - My LOR's are complete and will be mailed - got an email from VCOM saying that since I was a reapplicant I must have my application reviewed by the committee. It makes me real nervous because Its my first choice. 8/17- filled out and sent in all secondaries except pikeville, pcom, and Lecom-B (just got it today). 9/6- MCAT didnt increase which is ticking me off to no end. - VCOM actually approved me to fill out a secondary, still trying to find out whether it is just a ploy to get my money or if they actually want me for an interview again. - Decided to withdraw from PCOM-phila and probably NOVA(I found them to be very poor in response to applicants) - still waiting on DCOM to make a decision on my application. Very stressful 9/13- still waiting..... 9/26- and waiting 1/3- rejected from VCOM. Not that bitter but I cannot see any reason I should have been rejected twice from them. I had a great interview and I think they gave me the shaft once again. - Waitlisted at LECOM-erie great interview(went in there like I didnt care what I said and ended up doing awesome)I really like this school but I'm going to have to wait and see if it was just my C- in orgo I that they want me to fix. -Got an interview at Pikeville! Really excited about the opportunity and love the school! We'll see what happens - Nova continues to be the epitome of unprofessionalism during this process. No further comment on that side of my cycle 1/15/08- I was accepted to PCSOM!!! I will attend. I'm going to be a Doctor and can't wait. This is the end of my application story... its been fun
