Summary of Application Experience
Don't remember the exact dates of everything but I started the Princeton MCAT prep in Jan 07 for the April MCAT. I was pleased with my physical sciences score (avg. 9), psyched about my biological sciences score (avg. 12-13) but disappointed with my verbal and essay (avg. 11 & O).
I had my recommendation letters (O-Chem prof, Biochem prof, and Clinic coordinator from place I volunteered at) in to the professional school office by beginning of April and submitted my application to TMDSAS at the beginning of July which was processed on the 13th. Just got interview intives from 4 of the 6 Texas schools I applied to.
User #8564 took the old MCAT and scored a 34 which is in the 94th percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a 516 on the updated scale which is in the 94th percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted User #8564’s section scores as follows:
User #8564 scored a 15 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 132 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
User #8564 scored a 10 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 127 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
