    Summary of Application Experience

    Notes:
M.A.Sc. Guelph 2008 in progress (Biological Engineering)
    B.Sc. Guelph 2007 (Biological Sciences)
    B.A.Sc. Toronto 2001 (Engineering Science)

    - Retaking MCAT 8/6/2007 : Current MCAT score is useless in Canada
    - Clarification on the GPA issue: First degree (Toronto 01) had a GPA of 2.6 :(
Second Degree (Guelph 07) had a GPA of 3.9
Over both degrees, my GPA is 3.0 ... Some schools take all years, some 2 or 3 most recent.

4/24/2007: Profile Created. Applying this summer when the OUAC applications open.

8/24/2007: Wrote the MCAT again a few weeks ago. Waiting on results.

    9/6/2007: Got MCAT results: 13/10/13 O = 36O. Queen's & Western are out. SOAB!

    9/16/2007:
    Why don't you apply to...

    Saskatchewan?
    - 91% cut-off for Out-of-provice applicants... ridiculous

    Northern Ontario?
    - Not from the North, 0% chance of acceptance

    McGill?
    - They don't recognize coursework more than 8 years old.

    10/9/2007:
2 major changes. I will shoot for a July 1st thesis defense, and will take a second biochem credit next semester to allow me to apply to UBC and Manitoba... Someone's not gonna be getting any sleep! :P

    12/27/2007:
Accepted to Saba and St. Georges University in the Caribbean. The back-up plan is in place. :)

    2/13/2007:
Rejections continue to pour in. I am applying for a scholarship from SGU, if that doesn't work, I'll probably go to Saba.

    3/11/2007:
Invite from U of T received!!! Very surprised and grateful.
