    Summary of Application Experience

    Some thoughts...

UMass has been my top choice the whole time. I made this pretty clear to them, but it doesn't seem to matter. They are about the slowest school to issue decisions ever. Advice to future UMass applicants: have a lot of patience.

Other programs that impressed me: UPenn (It is truly an amazing program and they really seem to take care of their students), UPitt, Jefferson, UVM.

I would love to go to UPitt, but ultimately other factors unrelated to the school played a role in withdrawing. I would highly recommend Pitt to everyone else.

When I interviewed at Temple, the Dean of Admissions decided not to show up and give us a talk about the school. That is fine, except that they didn't get a replacement, so we never got a talk about the school. Instead we sat in a waiting room for roughly an hour when we would have gotten said talk. That's why I withdrew from there.
