Brief Profile:
Attended college for a year, premed. Never went to class; was too excited about being a 'grownup'. Horrific GPA - 1.68. Took a VOLUNTARY leave of absence (no probation) to figure things out. Two years later, transferred to a new college, got a B.S. in Criminal Justice (Cum GPA 3.76) and then a M.A. in Criminology (GPA 3.70). Completed a post-bac program. One year at Penn State's what's tanking my BCPM/cumulative GPAs. The only science courses I've ever taken are the ones at PSU and the exact same ones I repeated [and did well in] at Loyola. They almost cancel each other out.

5/3/2007 - So AMCAS opened today, and I jumped right in. Got all my transcript requests to my schools -- one of them sent it already! I guess this is the beginning of the long road ahead. Kind of exciting, though!
5/4/2007 - Heard from my [silly] undergrad (and more recently, post-bac) institution that they will not, under any circumstances, send out transcripts with Spring grades until 6/1. I'm debating whether or not to just send one now (without spring grades) and label the courses 'Current/In Progress' so I can still be submitted on 6/1. Thoughts?
5/9/2007 - After all that waiting, it finally paid off! 32S on my MCAT. Sure, I'm a bit surprised and disappointed at the 09 in Biological Sciences (must've been that damn A-F orgo passage!), but I'm very pleased at my result.
5/21/2007 - AMCAS has received all of my transcripts! All that worry for naught. I suppose it's just the beginning of the REAL anxiety.
6/5/2007 - AMCAS submitted and 'Ready for Review'. Let the fun begin!
6/6/2007 - AACOMAS submitted. Transcripts on the way.
6/6/2007 - AMCAS verified! Of course, they misclassified all of my Criminal Justice courses as Foreign Language/Linguistics, but what the hell. I don't suppose there's any harm in leaving them that way, is there?
6/7/2007 - Academic Change Request sent to AMCAS asking them to change my Criminal Justice courses from FLAN to GOVT. I figure since they're not sending applications to schools until the 21st, I've got time to correct their mistake.
6/7/2007 - Twelve hours later, Academic Change Request completed, AMCAS proofread and ready to go!
6/8/2007 - Added Tufts & Temple to the list as additional mid-tier schools.
6/13/2007 - Just waiting on one more transcript for AACOMAS.
6/18/2007 - Last transcript in AACOMAS! Let the verification begin.
6/20/2007 - Wow, AACOMAS verified! Just waiting for them to mail.
6/21/2007 - Errors in AACOMAS, as well. They didn't replace certain grades they should have, and they incorrectly marked courses as repeats when they were not. E-mail sent at 2:26pm.
6/21/2007 - Response from AACOMAS at 5:15pm! Said everything should be fixed. It's improved, but has new errors and Biology GPA is still incorrect. E-mail sent back at 5:25pm. *sigh*
6/22/2007 - And the secondaries start coming in...
6/25/2007 - Finally, AACOMAS verified AND correct!
6/29/2007 - Woo, broke the $2000 mark, and I'm not even half done with secondaries, let alone interview costs! (I won't get THAT many interviews.)
7/5/2007 - Complete at my first school (Jefferson)!
7/20/2007 - Finally all caught up with secondaries! I was 7 behind. That is NOT fun; not recommended.
8/6/2007 - First interview invite! AZCOM! Woo!
8/16/2007 - Pritzker can eat me.
8/26/2007 - I don't care if their e-mail was very nice. BU rejected me on a SUNDAY. That's just rude.
10/10/2007 - WOOHOO! First acceptance! Loved AZCOM! Nice lady on the phone told me when I called. Feels great!
11/08/2007 - Wow, SUNY Buffalo rejects me via status page. How rude.
12/07/2007 - U of I acceptance! Never underestimate state school love! Bouncing off the wall with excitement! :D
