  • Application cycles: 2006
  • Demographics: Male, Caucasian
  • Home state: Texas
  • Brief Profile: I love guitar. I played bass in a band for the first couple undergraduate years (which explains some poor early grades). I also like running, lifting weights, painting, and fishing.
As I studied psychology my interests grew toward psychiatry. I have some shadowing experience in the San Antonio psychiatry dept. However, after a cell physiology course, I turned very interested in pathology. I have over 40 hours of shadowing in a path. lab.
I've spent about 40 hours volunteering in an ER.
Currently, I finishing up a masters degree in cell biology. My research deals with organelle transport mechanisms (pharmacology). I teach three labs (two A&P and one vert. physiology).
