Brief Profile:
Graduated Magna Cum Laude, with Honors in Biology (for my one year senior honors thesis research project), Provosts Honors, and Phi Beta Kappa. Member and board member of PASS (premedical association of students for service) at UCSD. I have plenty of non-medically related volunteering experiences, not to much clinical, but I have been working with a project that delivers eye exams and glasses to needy children in san diego for over a year now (started as a volunteer, then worked part time, now work full time in my year off). I went to Peru for two months to learn spanish and volunteer in a clinic the summer after my graduation (and loved every minute of it). I also have a lot of different work experiences (construction, school-teacher, etc).
