    Summary of Application Experience

    Submitted primary application June 2
    Submitted secondary shortly thereafter
Finally got my HPAC with all my LOR's there July 20something
    Interviewed August 3
Rejected EDP September 17, but kept my app. with everyone else for regular admissions
Accepted via online November 14! Boo-ya!

The whole application process blows...and I only applied to TCOM! I wanted to stay in Texas, and I only wanted to be a DO, so applying EDP only made sense if that's the only place to go. Although I didn't get in through EDP, it forced me to get my stuff in early. I was kinda' bummed, but it turns out ~20 applied EDP and only 1 accepted. I didn't have the best EC's or anything, but I was sure to let my strong desire to be a DO, both for OMM and the philosophy, really show through in the interview. Plus, having a DO for a father and 4 LORs from TCOM alumni (one of which was valedictorian) probably didn't hurt either!
