Summary of Application Experience
11/18: Thought this might be a nice way to record this agonizing experience for posterity?s sake. I submitted most of my secondaries by mid October, so now find myself playing the waiting game. Wasn?t too surprised to be declined from UCSF and UCI; I figure the UCs are a long shot for me and my less-then-impressive GPAs. Was shown the door by Georgetown, too, but this might actually be a blessing in disguise as they are ridiculously expensive, even by med school terms. Well, I just hope that something in my personal statements and letters of rec catches they eye of an admissions officer; I?m sure I won?t get in on numbers alone!
