Summary of Application Experience
Primary AMCAS application was delayed until late-August because of payment and processing problems. Secondaries came in late-October, first interview not until February. Was told by an admissions officer at my current school that I would have had a better chance at many schools if apps were finalized earlier. Bottom line: doesn't matter how qualified you think you are--if you don't get your AMCAS in early, you won't get the interviews.
