I am particularly interested in global health and bioethics, so I'd like to pursue either an MPH or MA in Bioethics at some point -- I chose to apply to the schools listed below largely as a result of their strength in these areas and their commitment to the underserved (here or abroad)

Summary of Application Experience
April MCAT, submitted AMCAS in late June after MCAT scores were released (waiting for those scores might have been the longest 2 months of my life)
Received/submitted all secondaries (except Michigan) by the end of July, decided in early October to add Michigan
Late April: After receiving financial aid letters, I decided to Withdraw from the NYC schools. Really hard to do (I loved all of them), but I could not justify the cost. Decision is now between Pitt and Penn.
Going on interviews was actually a fun experience -- great opportunity to see some new cities and meet some cool people! I highly recommend staying with a student host whenever possible; I stayed with a student host at OSU, Columbia, NYU, MSSM, and Harvard--the students were so friendly, and it gave me a chance to hear more about student life (plus save some cash after all those expensive apps!)
