Summary of Application Experience
2 YEAR process. SMP program helped me get 3 interviews ... my performance there helped too.
I shouldn't have applied the first year, but it taught me a lesson: I need to change my study habits and push for the grades ... getting into med school is a gift, but you have to WORK to get there; no matte how hard you think you are working, work harder and make sure you are a candidate. Don't give up! I didn't! In my interview I said that if I could get the interview, anyone with a mediocre GPA can ... its just a longer process!!!!
