Summary of Application Experience
Judging by my rediculously low MCAT score, one may ask 'was that a mistake?' No, it wasn't...I am the hope that if you have one bad mark on your application, there is a chance that your other accomplishments will carry you through. UH was my top choice and I didn't even finish the applications for the other ones. I saved a lot of time and money, but it's not the safest method (nor the most popular). I am also very lucky (although I did end up retaking the MCAT and scoring higher, just in case, heh).
User #5858 took the old MCAT and scored a 25 which is in the 49th percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a 500 on the updated scale which is in the 50th percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted User #5858’s section scores as follows:
User #5858 scored a 11 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 129 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
User #5858 scored a 7 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 124 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
User #5858 scored a 7 on the Verbal Reasoning section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 123 on the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
