October 16: Several interview invites... waiting on the rest November 8: I had interviews at SUNY Downstate and NYU thus far. NYU is by far my first choice, I actually plan on sending a letter of intent to express my sincere desire in attending their program. November 22: Interviewed at NYU, Einstein, SUNY Upstate, SUNY Downstate December 10: First acceptance! SUNY Upstate! I'm going to be a doctor! December 26: SUNY Downstate acceptance! Also, tallied my expenses to date...
January 10: NYMC interview invite yesterday and sent out my Stony Brook 'Please accept me off of your waitlist' letter. Please?! January 16: Anxiously checked mailbox to look for the notorious Einstein decisions that went out... only to find a Penn St. acceptance! So far 3/4 with the 4th being a wait-list to Stony Brook. Also, sent in L.O.I. to NYU. February 4: Waiting... February 20: Waitlist from NYU! This gives me hope from now until the day before classes start in August for an NYU acceptance! April 9: Called Financial Aid office at Penn State and found out that all of the expenses are covered by loans... amazing. Withdrew from a few schools today... Go Nittany Lions April 30: Came back from Penn State 2nd look and was blown away. If it was even possible, it impressed me more this past weekend then it even did during the interview. 'We are Penn State'
