Summary of Application Experience
The AMCAS process was really long and I wish I had started earlier. Was really excited about Harvard but I am going to McGill in the fall, best bang for my buck :)
Some 'advise for people': Don't be discouraged by a 'low' gpa. I have a 3.7 and that pretty low compared with other applicants who get in. But I found that a high MCAT score, backed by plenty of extracurricular activities and recommendations from professors who really know you can make a great difference.
Also prepare well for the MCAT. My interviews at Brown and Johns Hopkins were amoung the first and I found my self quite unprepared for their questions which may attribute to the rejections that followed...
