9/13/06 - Submitted 2ndaries for Miami, Case Western and (concurrently) Cleveland Clinic.
10/2/06 - Interview Invite for Wright State, and Rejections from Hawaii (tears...) and Kansas. P.S., the jayhawks suck.
10/14/06 - Submitted secondaries for Ohio State and MCO. Hoping my in-statedness and connections to the Buckeyes will get me an interview there.
10/22/06 - Complete at MCO
11/1/06- Interviewed at Wright Yesterday. First interview went well, second interview ...not so much. Still hoping for 1st acceptance though.
11/10/06- Awoke to find an interview invitation from NEOUCOM in my email inbox.... CCLM rejection as well. Friggin awesome. Your loss.
11/13/06- good news on this monday morning... Got an interview from Medical College of Ohio (Toledo). Can't interview till Feb Tho.
11/25/06- Rejected From Case. Drowning my sorrows in turkey gravy.
11/29/06- Interviewed at NEOUCOM. Nice School, despite harsh reviews from others. Very very nice students. Impressed with the community. Actual interview was so-so, and they waitlist like 80% of direct applicant interviewees ...
11/30/06- Came back to work after my NEOUCOM interview to find a message on my machine from Cincinnati inviting me to interview. Called and they said the class was almost full, and I could interview in Jan for a waitlist spot, or I could interview on Monday the 4th... 4 days from now. Clearly, I chose the 4th.
12/5/05- Cincinnati interview yesterday. Very nice school. Different feel from NEOUCOM and WSUCOM. Should hear back sometime around MLKJDAY. Still Waiting on WSU letter....
12/17/06- Accepted at UC. YES!
12/21/06- Waitlisted at NEOUCOM.
1/8/07- Accepted to Wright State!
1/11/07- Accepted off waitlist at NEOUCOM!
2/5/07- Interview at MCO/Toledo, Nice, Small school feel, Big School Education. Interviews were exceptional.
2/26/07- Accepted at Toledo! This probbably concludes my cycle, as I highly doubt that I will be contacted by OSU or Miami. Soooo...probbably UC or UT,
3/20/07- Rejected from OSU and Miami ... ehhh.
Thoughts on the App process : should have applied to in staters first, then OOS. Oh Well. Should have applied to OSU earlier ... I'll probbably be leaving my beloved Buckeyes next year.
