    Summary of Application Experience

I applied to SUNY Buffalo's Early Acceptance program early my sophomore year of college and was interviewed and accepted in April, 2004. I was exempt from taking the MCAT's (phew!) but had to maintain a science and overal GPA of 3.7 each semester following my acceptance.

My interview was pretty laid back - I was interviewed by a current student as well as a former professor, and both were extremely friendly and conversational. My only advice is that it pays to have some background information and questions on the school you're interviewing at so that at the end of the interview, when you're asked, 'so do you have any questions?' you actually have something to say other than, 'um, no... (am I done?)'

I'm currently pursuing my masters in counseling psychology and will start medical school in the Fall of 2006!
