Summary of Application Experience
So I took the MCAT in April 2004. Had a baby in early June 2004. Received my scores about 1 week after baby was born. Finished my AMCAS application by June end. Received secondaries from WashU and SLU and submitted August 2004. Interviewed at both schools October 2004. Waitlisted by SLU about 2 weeks later. Waitlisted by WashU in March 2005. No word from either until August 2005. No Luck this year.
Resubmitted AMCAS August 2005 immediately after receiving final notification from both schools. I re-tooled all of my Personal Statements. Submitted secondaries in September 2005. Interviewed SLU late November 2005. Interviewed Washu Dec 13, 2005. Accepted by SLU Dec 15, 2005! WOOHOO I'm going to be a doctor! Waitlisted by WashU again :( March 2006.
This has been a wild ride!
