Summary of Application Experience
This is my second year applying to medical schools. Last year, I limited myself to allopathic schools only. I was rejected to all nine schools I appled to. This year, after improving my MCAT from 24 to 27, I have been more succesful. I also added an osteopathic school to which I have been accepted. The process is frustrating, and I've definately learned that there is no formula for the 'ideal' applicant. Numbers are important, but I think plenty of pre-meds have the numbers. What makes the difference are the other factors. Good luck!
