Summary of Application Experience
Last year, I applied to University of Puerto Rico and was rejected. I also sent my information and fees to Ponce School of Medicine and Universidad Central del Caribe, but failed to complete my application papers, so I was rejected. I had a MCAT of 16 and a GPA of 3.60 without my B.S. degree. This year I have a 3.7 GPA with a B.S. from UPR and an MCAT of 17, let's see if being a graduate and have a more competitive MCAT and GPA gets me into medical school. This year, I am applying to University of Puerto Rico, Universidad Central del Caribe and San Juan Bautista Medical School in Caguas. I have sent all, and my recommendation letters are on their way, I hope that the whole application be in the schools by mid-November.
I got interviewed at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine (SJB) in Caguas, PR on December 14, 2005. I was accepted on SJB in January 2006.
