Summary of Application Experience
I applied to 19 schools, got 19 secondaries and 7 interviews, which led to 5 waitlists. Finally, in early June I got my acceptance to VCU and took my name off the rest of the waitlists. Around March I began sending monthly updates to all the schools where I was still waitlisted. I also continued calling schools that had neither invited me for an interview nor rejected me until I had answers from all of them.
