Summary of Application Experience
9/1 - Received Texas Tech interview invite from their website on Aug. 24th for Aug. 31st and one from UTMB via e-mail on Aug. 31st for Sept. 30th. UTH & Tech interviews went well. Totally dug Houston. Tech was better than I expected but nothing tremendous or out of this world. Houston really really impressed me. I knew their being in the Texas Medical Center would make their facilities out of control, but I didn't realize that I would like the school itself so much. The people were amazing and the Dean was nuts, but in a good way. Looking forward to interview #4!!!! Yay for me!!!! ;)
8/16 - UTSA interview yesterday. Seemed like it went pretty well. Everyone there was so nice, it was easy to just hang out and calm down before the interviews. Overall a great experience. Of course, with it being my only interview so far, it is my first choice, hahaha.
7/30 - Ok, now I feel like a jack ass. I got an interview (snail mail) invite from UTSA today! So far, just based on my small amount of knowledge of the med schools here in Texas, SA seems to be my first choice. The interview is on the 15th of August, that's like TWO WEEKS AWAY! YAY!!!!!
7/30 - Having a hard time. Seems like everyone is getting an interview from UTMB and I haven't heard jack. Sucks to be me, I guess.
7/6 - Interview invite from UT-Houston! YAY! Receipt of application from UT-Southwestern. Like I got a chance, please!
6/29 - TMDSAS processed and sent to schools.
6/25 - All secondaries (UTSW, aTm & Tech) all submitted.
6/23 - Submitted TMDSAS. Feel pretty good about the PS, seeing as I wrote it probably 9 bazillion times, but we'll see!
