Summary of Application Experience
10/25/2005 - ACCEPTED TO MUO!!!! YEAH!!!
10/17/2005 - Waitlisted at Wright State :(
10/3/2005 - Accepted to OUCOM! It's my very top DO choice, so now I can withdraw from every other DO school.
9/17/2005 - Got a Medical College of Ohio interview! I am so happy! 2 MD interviews this early is great, I am truly surprised.
9/11/2005 - Got a Wright State interview! Can't believe it! I wasn't expecting an MD school interview so early in the process. I hope it goes well!
9/9/2005 - West Virginia DO has extended the deposit deadline to 12/15, so I can hold onto that acceptance! I'm so happy!
9/2/2005 - I have decided to withdraw from West Virginia DO school. The deposit was too big, so I'm hoping for some Ohio schools!!!
9/1/2005 - Yay! I got an OU interview! OUCOM is definitely my first choice as far as DO schools go.
8/27/2005 - Got interview invites from UNECOM and Pikeville. I'm still debating on whether or not to go to Maine for the UNECOM interview. Pikeville is on a Saturday, so it will be no problem to get it off work (I'm a teacher). UNECOM is on a Wednesday, though. I don't want to take lots of personal days now while I am still holding out hope for interviews from Ohio MD schools.
8/15/2005 - I just got an acceptance letter from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine! I didn't even have to interview. What??? I didn't apply early decision, either! They need to know if I accept (with a huge deposit) by September 30th. I am so confused... I will call them tomorrow morning. I also got my first rejection today - IU. Oh well, I am not a big fan of Indianapolis anyway.
8/8/2005 - I am so tired of secondaries! Please make it stop!
