Summary of Application Experience
Don't apply without knowing your MCAT score (i.e. don't apply while taking the MCAT for the first time in August)...I made that mistake, got a 25 on the MCAT, and only got 3 interviews (not too bad considering) Worked as a research technician for 1.5 years, got publications, retook the MCAT (improved 9 points), applied early, and I got accepted I am going to UVA...but I am still waiting to hear from WashU
