2015 MCAT scores above are converted to the old scale more or less (disregard the W score).
Many of my secondary submit dates are around 9/17, when AMCAS received my committee letter.
I am leaving a lot of this info blank until the 2015-2016 cycle is over, for anonymity purposes. I understand how nebulous this process can feel, and I hope my future data and observations will help applicants in the years to come. :)
Summary of Experience:
2 interviews (1 faculty, 1 M4) in the morning. The day started off with a talk from/conversation with Dean Muller. Given recent events, we talked about the White Coats for Black Lives movement. I found it difficult though to engage in a real discussion - a lot of us were nervous, and some remained silent. Students here seem social, happy, and nice people, who are all secretly smart. The lunch was so-so, but apparently they were soon switching over to another deli that was better. Aron Hall apartments are the nicest I had seen from all NY schools! *My interview date was in November, I'm purposefully leaving the exact day blank.
PersimmonDream took the old MCAT and scored a 38 which is in the 99th percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a 522 on the updated scale which is in the 99th percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted PersimmonDream’s section scores as follows:
PersimmonDream scored a 13 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 130 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
PersimmonDream scored a 10 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 127 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
PersimmonDream scored a 15 on the Verbal Reasoning section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 132 on the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
