Summary of Application Experience
Start your app May 1. Apply early. Allocate a few hours every day to pre-write secondaries. Build in a routine. Make a running tracker of the schools you're applying to, costs, updates. Pre-write secondaries (I didn't). This process is emotionally challenging, but become apathetic to the process, get passionate about being a physician. Celebrate a little every day during the app cycle.

Summary of Experience:
Accepted! I honestly had no expectations for Dartmouth; I applied on a whim. I fell in love with the school at the interview; the students, interviewers and curriculum all sold me. I could not believe that such a great school picked me. That shows you how incredibly confusing this process is.
Summary of Experience:
State school. This had been my dream school since I was a child. Great program, great city. New curriculum and campus. The students seemed to be adjusting to the new curriculum but were very laid back.
