Brief Profile:
MCAT: 27 (8PS, 8VB, 11BS) - was always getting 10-11 in PS on practice tests, but pre-health advisor suggested applying without retaking MCAT to get application in early
cGPA: 3.65 sGPA: 3.60
Extracurriculars: 450hrs internship in cardiac rehab center Student Government President Member of Board of Trustees at college Summer Research Program Completion - lead to publication Residential Advisor for 3 years Community Service (100+ hrs)
I am applying both MD/DO. I don't have that whole desire of "the title of MD" on my heart, I just want to pursue my passion for the medical field, treat patients, and use what I learn to benefit the community. I know my MCAT will really hold me back in regards to having options, but we'll see what happens.
