Summary of Experience:
Withdrew application in January. The interview request came after I had already gotten into UCSF, so I wasn't planning on dropping more money to fly to a place I didn't like as much.
Summary of Experience:
Definitely felt the grandeur on interview day. This was hands down my worst interview so I wasn't surprised to receive the rejection.
Summary of Experience:
Weirdest interview experience. One of my interviewer was blatantly giving me a stress interview, except he wasn't very good at it? It was clear that he wasn't listening - huge turn off. My other interviewer was this delightful old man who might have been half-deaf? It was a beautiful conversation. I didn't really feel like I fit in well with the students, so withdrawing after receiving the waitlist notification wasn't hard.
Summary of Experience:
First interview and first acceptance! What a great place. This was one of my top choices going in, but I withdrew following acceptance to Columbia.
Summary of Experience:
NYU has a great program. I was really excited about Bellevue hospital since med students get so much hands on experience. Their financial aid offer was pretty grim though, so I'd rather go to Columbia
