Summary of Application Experience
I applied last year without much success (out of 23 MD schools, 1 interview invite and subsequent waitlist). This year my goals were to apply earlier (last year I submitted on July 1), include some DO schools, rewrite my personal statement, and improve my secondary application turnaround rate (trying to average 2-7 days). Hopefully, keeping up with mdapps will help me keep better track of turnaround time.
Summary of Experience:
Interview invite as a reapplicant. I really liked the school when I interviewed there last year. Hopefully I can impress them with the changes I've made to my application.
Summary of Experience:
Really great school. All of the students are cooperative and support each other. Med school is hard anywhere but these guys also know how to have fun. Interviews were super chill and relaxed. One thing that stands out is the clinical experience: NOLA offers a unique opportunity to see conditions you might not encounter anywhere else in the US. Overall, I'm really impressed with this school and it's seriously a high consideration.
Summary of Experience:
I applied to both campuses but got an interview at COMP NW, hold at COMP Pomona. I love the atmosphere at COMP NW. Students are welcoming and friendly. They seem to have a slightly older student population so lots of married couples/parent-students. The town is really appreciative of their med students. In addition, the faculty truly have their heart invested in the school and actively work to make it succeed. Very impressed by this school. High consideration. ACCEPTED YEEEAAHHHH
