And it's official, rejected. Some love from HMS would have been pretty awesome, but I'm not too hung up over it. I probably would have frozen to death in the streets of Boston, anyway.

Final rejection received. A little unexpected, since I heard that they were stats-happy, but I certainly have no right to complain given how the cycle has gone.

Finally rejected. I initially was more interested in them, but after withdrawing from Cornell and AECOM, I'm realizing that 4 years in NYC would be great, but a little too close to home for my liking.
Update: Accepted! I love Duke, but I'm somewhat torn between that love and the desire to leave the triangle and see some new scenery.
Update 2: Offered a full-tuition scholarship. I'm still in shock. Wow. I think this basically makes the decision for me...
Richard Wallace is a truly incredible speaker. Very charismatic, emotive, and powerful. What a way to end the interview day.
MMI was actually pretty enjoyable, the raters were all very personable and willing to converse. Felt less like interviewing and more like a casual, friendly debate/argument.
Summary of Experience:
Absolutely amazing campus, though it feels somewhat like an island of wealth and technology in the middle of East Baltimore. That being said, the clinical education here is second to none, and the students here absolutely blew me away. My interviewer was an incredibly accomplished individual, but also very down-to-earth. Extremely impressed by JHU SOM, and my fingers are very much crossed.
Update: ACCEPTED! This has been an incredible week. Some very difficult decisions are ahead...
Summary of Experience:
Had a great time interviewing at WUSM - was my first time to StL, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the city seemed nice from what little I saw of it. Facilities are great, though Olin Hall (residential) leaves much to be desired. WUSM definitely had one of the most informative interview packets, and I really like the Dis-Orientation Guide they gave us. Had an amazing chat with my interviewer, who was a very impressive and accomplished physician. Feel very lucky to have the acceptance!
Summary of Experience:
Their campus is halfway up Mt. Sutro in central SF, and there are amazing views of the city and the bay from almost every floor of the school and the hospital. The students were all brilliant and very much unstressed, which was immensely appealing. Had to run right after the interview to catch a red-eye, but really wish I could have stuck around a bit longer to see more.
Update: ACCEPTED! I did *not* see this coming at the beginning of the application season. So excited!
